I've been making these mobiles by hand for over 20 years. The first leaf mobile was inspired by the shadows of tree branches outside my window on an interior wall. Just out of grad school, I was teaching myself to make mobiles just for fun, and was compelled by the logic of the imagery.
My mobiles are created from silk fabric and fine gauge stainless steel wire. They are constructed entirely by hand. I enjoy the meticulous process that goes into making each one. Creating mobiles gives me a sense of peace, and I hope they convey that sense of peace to you, too!
